Village Care Family Services, Inc. provides a variety of services for children birth to three years and their families.
All Early Interventionist travel each day to work with families and
children in their homes, daycare center, and community activities. The goal is to provide families with the resources they need to nurture and support their child's growth and development.
Therapist work with parents to identify their priorities for their child and family. Routines are developed and the therapist help the family achieve those outcomes by providing strategies they can use throughout their regular schedules to help their children and families succeed.
Special Instructors facilitate several learning environments and activities that promote the child's skills in a variety of developmental areas, including cognitive processes and social interaction; Curriculum planning, including the planned interaction of personnel, materials, and time and space, that leads to achieving the outcomes in the child's individualized family service plan; Providing families with information, skills, and support related to enhancing the skill development of the child; and Working with the child to enhance the child's development.
Your special instructor is trained in early childhood development and strategies for promoting typical development and function. Providers of special instruction are be able to plan the effective use of all that is available within the child's natural environment . Your instructor will assist families to enhance their child's development. Special Instruction is relevant for both the cognitive and social domains of development.
